Resident Evil 3 [b] is a survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. This is a remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (1999) and follows Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira, who are trying to survive the zombie apocalypse when they hunt for the biological weapons Nemesis. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on April 3, 2020. It has the multi-player online mode Resident Evil: Resistance. The game received generally positive reviews from critics, its graphics, presentation and gameplay were praised, although criticism was directed at its short length, pace and lack of elements in the original game.

The raccoon city is plunged into chaos by the zombie apocalypse caused by the outbreak of the T-virus. On September 28, 1998, Jill Valentine, a former Special Tactical and Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S.) employee, was attacked in her apartment with an intelligent biological weapon known as the Nemesis-T type, which is trying to kill her and all the remaining members of S.T.A.R.S. [3] Leaving her building, she meets with comrade S.T.R.S. Officer Brad Vickers, but Brad is bitten by a zombie and tells Jill to save himself. After another encounter with Nemesis, she was rescued by the mercenary of the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service (U.B.C.S.) Carlos Oliveira. Carlos and his group of survivors U.B.C.S. Mercenaries - Michael Victor, Tyrell Patrick and Nikolay Dzhinovef - installed metro trains, which they plan to use to evacuate the surviving civilians from the city.

Having survived several clashes with Nemesis, Jill manages to renew power on the subway, while Carlos and Tyrell remain in the city looking for Dr. Nathaniel Bard, a Umbrella scientist who can know how to make a T-virus vaccine and save the city . When Jill, Nikolai and Mikhail take the train, Michael expresses his suspicions about Nikolai about how their platoon was ambushed by a zombie. Nemesis suddenly attacks a train and kills civilians; Nikolai locks the other two, forcing them to defend themselves. Nemesis grabs Mikhail, who sacrifices himself by detonating explosives, as a result of which the train went off the rails. Jill escapes as the only survivor of the disaster.

Carlos and Tyrell go to the city police station, where they plan to find Bard in S.T.A.R.S. office. Two witnesses R.P. Lieutenant Marvin Bran will be bitten by a zombie Brad before Carlos kills Vickers. Two are members of S.T.A.R.S. office and watch a video message from Bard, who tells them that he is in the hospital. Meanwhile, when Tyrell tracks Bard's whereabouts, Jill escapes the wreck of a derailed train to haunt Nemesis again. Now Jill mutated a lot, passing the radio to Carlos, and turned on the monster,

fleeing him, but only after he infected her with the T-virus. Jill falls unconscious, and Carlos finds her after about half a day, delivering her to the Spencer Memorial Hospital - the location of Bard. Carlos sneaks through an infected hospital to discover that Bard has been killed. He is watching a video from Bard in which he admits that the T-virus was designed by Umbrella,

and despite the fact that Umbrella is hiring him to develop a vaccine, the Umbrella board now wants to destroy it and eliminate all traces of the existence of the virus. Carlos picks up the vaccine and sends it to Jill. Tyrell arrives at the hospital, and they realize that the US government plans to destroy Raccoon City as a result of a missile strike to destroy the T-virus infection. Carlos goes to the NEST 2 lab under the hospital to find more vaccines, while Tyrell tries to contact anyone to try and stop the missile strike.
